A-LINE DRESSES

This bridal gown shape is classic. The name describes this gown perfectly. The skirt falls from the waist to create an “A” shape. An A-line dress is very flattering for most body types.

SHEATH WEDDING DRESSES

Sheath style wedding dresses follow every curve of the bride’s figure. Generally, the sheath bridal dress has no waist and seems to come straight down from the shoulders.

TRUMPET WEDDING DRESSES

The Trumpet silouette features a slim, body hugging shape that gently flares out beginning mid-thigh. The skirt hugs and accentuates the curves of your hips while the hem flounce floats away from the body. It is a dramatic style that works for many figures.

FLUTED/MERMAID WEDDING DRESSES

The Fluted or Mermaid wedding dresses are very similar in shape and styling. With the fluted or trumpet dress, the skirt cuts closer to the hip and thigh and softly falls away from the body. The mermaid wedding dress shape fits very much like the trumpet; however, the skirt hugs through the hip and thigh and flares dramatically at the bottom.

BALLGOWN DRESSES

This is the bridal dress shape that is practically synonymous with princess dress. Ball gowns fit the waist snuggly in the bodice and the skirt is very voluminous. The skirt’s fullness gives the bride the appearance of floating above the ground when walking.
